Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative and inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:15-16, II Peter 1:21).

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30, 37, and 38).

We believe that God directly created the universe from no pre-existing substance (Genesis 1:1-2).

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35), born of the Virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23), and is true God (I John 1:10) and true man.

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 10:33), in His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), in His miracles (John 2:11, His vicarious and atoning death on the cross of Calvary (I Corinthians 15:3), in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), and in His personal return to power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelations 19:11-16).

We believe that man was created in the image of God and fell into sin in Adam (Genesis 1:26), thereby incurring both physical death and spiritual death, that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and that, in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, they become sinners in thought, word, and deed (Romans 3:23).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitution sacrifice according to the Scriptures, and that men are justified by faith alone in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith are we saved (John 3:16, John 5:24, Romans 3:23, 5:8-10, Ephesians 2:8-10).

We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become children of God (John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe in the literal, bodily, personal, and imminent coming of our Lord into the air to catch away all believers unto Himself before the tribulation period; also, in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Christ to the earth, with believers, at the close of the tribulation period to judge the living nations and to set up His millennial kingdom on earth (Acts 1:11; John 14:3; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; II Thessalonians 2:7-8; Revelation 4:1, 20:1-6, 19:11-21; Matthew 24:29-31, 25:31-45, 24:42, 44; Hebrews 12:22-24).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to a state of eternal life and the lost to eternal punishment (John 5:28-29).

We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelations 19:16).

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Ephesians 4:30, 5:18).
